In October 2004, the Agur Foundation partnered with International Cooperating Ministries
( www.icm.org ), to build a church in a small village in Vietnam.
|
.. |
Established in 1987, there are currently 212 members of the church. For 17 years the congregation has continued to meet at various locations, yet has not had a permanent location to call their church home. With Agur’s donation, the site for the chapel was selected and purchased by the congregation |

With Agur’s donation, the site for the chapel was selected and purchased by the congregation. For several months the congregation anxiously awaited for the building partners to make their way to the village. With their arrival, construction began immediately. |

The Chapel is completed!.
.On August 24, 2005, the Agur Foundation received notification from ICM that “the Chapel in Vietnam had been dedicated! These people who were once spiritually “slaves in Egypt” rejoice to see a dwelling place for the Lord in their village. Everyone is free to come, sons and daughters, servants, foreigners, the fatherless and the widows. Now there is a place of worship in the village, dedicated to the worship of God. |

With the completion of the building, the congregation can begin to expand their ministry in earnest, calling people out of bondage into the freedom only Christ offers. It is a dangerous time to be a Christian in Vietnam, but the believers are passionate about sharing the gospel regardless…”
