The Journey Christian Church is a
non-denominational church established in February, 2000.
Journey's
purpose is to bring people to Jesus Christ and to help people become
fully committed
followers of Him. |

On August 1, 2005, the Cooper Twin
Theater was placed under new management. Joe Alexander, chairman of
the Board of Elders of Journey Christian Church, signed papers
transferring ownership to the church.
Journey’s congregation wasted no time to begin demolition. Their
goal was to be worshiping in their new home by Christmas.

The Church Staff and Congregation
spent five months remodeling the theater to gain the maximum use of
the facility to meet the current and future ministry needs. On
Christmas Eve, in December of 2005, Journey’s held the first service
in their new location.

Journey has numerous ministries
including Geeks4God, Leadership Network, Praise Band, Praise Teams,
Worship Choir and Drama
